As you think about this year what cultural events, school events and trends will you remember? There are many things that happen during a school year. Some will be forgotten almost as soon as they happen. Others you will remember even when you are grown up. Let your mind go back through the school year. Here are a few things that I remember about September: We went to the Roper Mountain Science Center to learn about plants. What I remember most is that several people brought clementine oranges. Everyone wanted to trade kids for them. Some kids were trading their desserts for them. It was really warm in September. It made it hard to want to run around outside. My favorite thing to do at recess is to play soccer. Some kids talked about wishing we had pool or even a sprinkler. I don't think I would want to go back to class wet.
